2021 Gravel Industries HJ262 GTC

The new Junkkari HJ262 is a 3 point hitch fitted and manufactured according to new safety standards.

This chipper has a 90 degree feed angle and a maximum log diameter of 26cm.

The quality of the wood chips of these direct feed chippers is extremely high, and they are particularly suitable for furnace use as the chipper cuts wood at the cross grain.

HJ262 is available as G- and GT manual feeder models as well as GTC crane feeder version.

The HJ262 GT model is almost identical to it: the only difference is that its feed device has an independent hydraulic tank and pump. This means that no additional hydraulic system is needed. This version is very useful especially if the chipper is used with several tractors.

The new manual feed chute is now longer and more open. The front part is fixed but the rear part can be easily lifted for transport. The introduction is controlled by the electric buttons on both sides of the chute. The stress-free anti-rotation protection is standard equipment and facilitates the work of operators. It automatically stops feeding if the tractor rpm drops, backs the wood off the disc, and then continues forward when the rpm returns to working level. The yellow bar around the chute guarantees user safety. It immediately stops feeding if it is pushed for example by parts of the body.
